The first ever film premiere to be held as part of the annual International Comic-Con in
San Diego, California, took place on Saturday, July 16, 2005, as writer/director/rocker
Rob Zombie unleashed THE DEVIL’S REJECTS to an audience of rabid fans, journalists,
and celebrities.

The screening, sponsored by Lions Gate Films and held at the Pacific Gaslamp 15, was
the hot ticket event of the night, even beating out the buzz of a free Tenacious D concert
being held simultaneously at the Comic-Con.

Walking the red carpet at the REJECTS premiere were writer/director Rob Zombie,
Sherri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, William Forsythe, Ken Foree, Matthew
“Tiny” McGrory, Leslie Easterbrook, Geoffrey Lewis, Priscilla Barnes, Danny Trejo,
Diamond Dallas Page, Elizabeth Daily, as well as Thomas Jane (THE PUNISHER,
DREAMCATCHER), and writer/director Jon Favreau (SWINGERS, ELF).
